職缺描述
Position Impact :
Gogoro's IT Infrastructure team is seeking a Senior IT System Engineer to own and operate the company’s on-premise systems and network across data centers, offices, branch locations, and retail stores. This role carries a primary focus on network engineering with a proportional workload in systems administration. You will design, maintain, and secure the enterprise network to ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operation across all Gogoro sites. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will serve as a key contributor to IT compliance efforts — including ISO 27001 and IT General Controls (ITGC) audits — and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. This is a cross-functional role: you will collaborate with multiple internal teams, coordinate with vendors, and support global users across distributed offices.
Responsibilities
• Oversee data center critical infrastructure, including server, storage, and environmental monitoring systems.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise network services including Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, firewalls, MPLS, SD-WAN, and site-to-site / remote access VPN across all Gogoro locations.
• Administer and continuously optimize network performance, capacity, and availability; provide escalation-level network support for critical incidents.
• Manage network security operations including ACL configuration, firewall rule deployment, VPN policy management, network segmentation, and intrusion detection/prevention.
• Lead and participate in ISO 27001 certification and ITGC audit activities: maintain evidence documentation, ensure controls are operating effectively, remediate findings, and support internal and external auditors.
• Own vendor relationships for network and infrastructure services: manage contracts, SLAs, procurement, and escalations with ISPs, hardware vendors, and managed service providers.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new network technologies and infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and security standards.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation including network diagrams, runbooks, change logs, and disaster recovery procedures.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or network engineering, with a strong focus on enterprise network design and operations.
• Familiarity with Linux server administration and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
• Comprehensive hands-on experience managing firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure in a multi-site environment (Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent).
• Solid experience with WAN technologies including MPLS, SD-WAN, and inter-site connectivity design.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles: firewall policies, VPN architectures, ACLs, network segmentation, and zero-trust concepts.
• Experience supporting ISO 27001 compliance or ITGC audit processes: understanding of control frameworks, evidence collection, and remediation workflows.
• Proven track record of managing vendor relationships: contract negotiation, SLA management, procurement coordination, and technical escalation with service providers.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: PowerShell, Bash, or Python for network automation and operational tasks.
• Experience managing or supporting data center infrastructure (rack-and-stack, power, cooling, cabling, physical security).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams, explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders, and coordinate with global colleagues.
• Moderate to strong English communication skills (written and verbal) for cross-regional collaboration.
